Steven, thanks for all of this. Love your product and really like your support service.
Thanks Steven. My settings are unchanged so I can only think that cc2018 code is in some way different in its action setting and produces a smaller native image than before. I can deal with it by using cc2017. I've tried to use Jb Builder Pro but balked at the restriction of 4095 px (as I recall). My shots are big (Nikon D850) and I confess to laziness as my excuse for using Photoshop's script to get my photos into Dreamweaver with my Jb tags. I suspect I'll have to change my lazy ways in the future.
Steven, I uninstalled photoshop 2018 and re-installed photoshop 2017. I took three photos from bridge and put them into Dreamweaver with Juicebox 1.5.0. I then uploaded them into my website, www.picmyhorse.com.
Go to the the aircraft page and click on the leftmost title "test 01". There are 3 photos: 20171214-002, 003 and 004.
Next, open the title to the right of "test 01", it's "2017 december 14 chili night". The first three photos are 20171214-002, 003 and 004.
I see significant differences in clarity between the Test 01 photos and the chili night photos.
The only difference between the two sets of photos is that test 01 was scripted in photoshop 2017 and chili night was scripted in photoshop 2018.
The photos in Bridge were processed in photoshop 2018.
Earlier, I found that when photoshop 2018 was used for scripting it didn't matter whether I used Juicebox 1.5.1 or 1.5.0; the clarity was the same: poor.
Steven, I don't see the uploaded photos or the first message sent by me today. Do I need to send it in a different way?
Here is the same photo as it appears on the web (picmyhorse.com, the aircraft page, 2017 december 14 chili night). The red shirt is not sharp and the fuselage and wing edges aren't either.
Today I compared the image size from an older photo using Juicebox 1.5.0 and photoshop cc 2017 to one under Juicebox 1.5.0 and photoshop cc 2018. The images both come from Dreamweaver. The older photo had the following dimensions in photoshop: width 20.8", height 14.0". The one from photoshop cc 2018 had a width of 14.25" and height of 9.75. I looked up the actions for each and could see no change in the instructions.
Hope this helps.
I uploaded photos recently with JB 1.51 and photoshop cc 2018 and noted two things: the dialogue boxes in Jb were fuzzy and not solid in colour and the photos ultimately appearing in Dreamweaver and the on the web were fuzzy (think: jagged edges and fuzziness, not tack-sharp as has always been the case until now). I checked the plug-in in the scripts menu and Adobe said it was updated. I then downloaded the plug-in from Photoshop 2017 but it returned the same fuzzy photos. I tried Jb 1.50 and experienced the same result. I have a new camera, a D850, so to test whether that made a difference, I re-did some photos from October. The result was the same. It's as if the image captured by the plug-in is too small and so when set to the large dimensions of a photo on the web the sizing is too great, resulting in the jagged edges and all-round fuzzyness.
crashed my computer and had to wipe it and start all over again. purchased Jb Pro 1.4 a week ago. need help to understand how to re-load it.
thanks
ted
ok, thanks Steven.
working on a new iMac. Have Photoshop CC and the Adobe Extension Manager CCall. Downloaded the Jukebox photoshop template.zxp and the following message showed in the Extension Manager, "The extension cannot be installed, it requires Photoshop version in range of inclusively between 12 and 16"
how do I work around this?
thanks. Should I presume a work-around is possible by the JB folks in the near or far term?
HI Folks, I have IE11 and juicebox Pro. When downloading a new picture set I got the Config File not found message. I tried to download an older set of pictures and got the same result. Is there something in IE11 that is preventing JB from working? I have 1.3.2
Thanks for the fast response. Will work with your suggestion.
I converted to JB 1.3.2 and am having trouble with titles for the pictures I post with Dreamweaver CS6. I use filenames for my titles and for all the pictures I process the titles appear throughout the jb conversion. However, Dreamweaver only shows the title of the first and last picture. Thereafter the title and index number (2/20) are lost and don't reappear.
Thanks for the help, folks. Turns out the problem was me (as it so often is). I had to alter the permissions to change the .jsx file and found that I was using JB-lite instead of pro in the script section of Photoshop. Once I corrected these everything worked fine.
My old computer died and I have had to replace it. I copied juicebox over to an external disk and today was able to set up the plug-in for Photoshop CS6. it runs. however, when i tried to include changes to the juicebox.jsx file as I was able to with the old computer, I was not able to do a save. I tried this in DreamWeaver, Notepad and Windows Notepad. in all cases, access to save was denied. Clearly I'm missing something.
Folks, is there a way to see and use the captions page when using JB Pro as a plugin through Photoshop CS6?
Ahah! Steve, thanks for your patience.
I changed what I was searching for to 'All Files' and there was the file you spoke about. After that the light went off and I finally figured out how to set the options I wanted! So, all is well, the program works well.
Thanks again.
Ted
Thanks but this really hasn't helped. I can't find the line you speak of; the code in question goes to about line 14, as I recall, then includes a huge number of lines that are not numbered.
All I want to do is move the gallery title and the thumbnail caption from the left side of the screen to the middle.
I've got Juicebox Pro as the plug-in for Photoshop CS6. I made a test gallery and now want to customize some of the features using juicebox builder. Thing is, I want to do it in such a way that the changes appear in the plug-in. Can you help?
