Thanks Steven - works well.

What do you do if you've got two galleries on the same page? Is there anyway to identify images from each gallery in a unique URL?

Cheers

How do I get a page to open at a specified image in a gallery using a unique url?

Cheers,

Seb

Thanks Steven,

This works really well. Tried it out on this page: http://www.tilesofstow.co.uk/decBirds&Flowers.asp

Now just got to put it into the rest of the site! Lots of find and replace....

Feature request: Right Click

Right Click to bring up local menu on a gallery would be really useful - both for images and text. This would be also good on expanded galleries.

Thanks Steven,

It works but on the right click, although a local menu appears, it's not possible to copy an image and it's still not possible to highlight text outside of IE 11. Also when other galleries on the same page are selected, no right click is possible.

Is it possible to correct this?

Seb

Thanks Steven,

I don't know if the code you've given me can be put into the galleries I've developed (with your help). An example of one is here:

http://www.tilesofstow.co.uk/decBirds&Flowers.asp

There are multiple galleries with JavaScript to call the galleries from different buttons on the page. Where would I put the code in this instance?

Seb

Hi Steven,

Thanks for the reply - I though as much! Is there any JavaScript that can over-ride this? Just a thought!

The Ctrl+C keyboard shortcut only works in IE - not Edge or Chrome, but I will implement the showOpenButton feature.

Maybe a good fix for the next release would be to allow right click in the gallery area...

Seb

Hi,

Is there any way to allow "right click" on a gallery? It'd be good to be able to copy images and text from a gallery.

Seb

Hi,

Can you tell me the css style governing the button bar position so that I can more accurately position it in the gallery container? I want to place the expand button in the corner of the container:

http://www.artwebs.co.uk/murB&wCockerels.asp

At the moment it's as high and to the right as I can make it go.

Seb

Hi,

I'm building a site that uses embedded Juicebox galleries. How do I get the SEO option to work with this method? As far as I can see, the only way to get content into the page is to actually have it present in the html - which of course it is not when the gallery is in an external folder. Is there anyway to get the titles of each image into the page without hiding them (which would cause google to bar the site)?

Example page: http://www.artwebs.co.uk/colCatwalk.asp

Seb

Thanks Stephen.

When do you expect the new version's release?

Hi

I have a test page here with a Juicebox Gallery:

http://www.artwebs.co.uk/colStonewareClockHouse.asp

If you hit the "expand gallery" option the gallery expands as required. If the "close gallery" option is then selected, the gallery returns to it's normal state.

However, if you now re-size your browser window down, the web page does not stay central to the window; it is pushed to one side. Only by refreshing the window will the web page return to it's correct central location in the window.

Can this be rectified?

Seb

Hi,

Is it possible to embed YouTube and Vimeo videos into a gallery - and if so can you point me to the instructions on the site to do so please? I can't find any references there.

Cheers

Seb

This is great - thanks. Can you put this in the options for the next release? Very useful.

Seb

How can I change the main image caption or title font size?

Hi,

When I go to open an existing gallery, Juicebox keeps freezing - or rather comes back as "not responding" This has started to happen since I upgraded to Windows 10 - no surprise!

I haven't actually got a full version of the latest App as I updated my original copy (V. juicebox_pro_1.4.4.2)  from your update emails. Where can I get a full copy of the app so that I can try to re-install....if you think that this would cure the problem.

Cheers,

Seb

Incidentally, I've just noticed that while viewing on a phone, I'm getting a rectangular shadow under the image captions. This only seems to show on mobile devices. I've tried to put in white backgrounds in the embedded code, but the shadow persists. Any ideas?

Thanks again Steven for your invaluable support. Really pleased with this slide gallery, and now have a good template for future use.

I've promised myself to sit down and learn some fundamentals of JavaScript - and brush up on my CSS knowledge too!

Again - works a treat....Thank you!

How would I now get one of the buttons to show as selected on page load?

Hi Steven,

Works a treat! Thank you.

The last thing I need to be able to do now is be able to keep the buttons - which select the galleries - lit, when scrolling through the images. The pseudo-class a:active doesn't seem to keep them lit when clicking on anything in the gallery.

Any ideas?

Really appreciate your help with this one. I think it's made a fantastic and user-friendly gallery for most browser sizes.

Cheers,

Seb

Hi Steven,

Thanks so much for your help with this JavaScript. I finally have got round to implementing the new script you wrote in my test page:

http://www.artwebs.co.uk/colCatwalk.asp

and it works really well.

The only thing  is that on gallery swap, there is a brief (sometimes longer depending on connection) black background. I understand that there's a delay in the gallery change, but is it possible to make this background white - or even have gif of a timer as a background image?

I've tried to do this by putting a background colour on the containing DIVS by to no avail.

Thanks,

Seb
