With most DSLR's, smart phones and drones being capable of video (in addition to still photos), support for video would probably be a very well received feature to build into Showkase and its gallery viewers.

While a gallery is loading, is it possible to customize the area where the default spinning gear resides to indicate % of load time remaining... or something similar to this?

Tried it and it works great- thanks for the quick response!

How can I force it to open the link in the existing window?

Image-specific settings (such as linkTarget) are not stored in preset XML files and it is currently not possible to set the linkTarget entries within the Showkase interface. (This functionality will be introduced in the next version of Showkase although I do not know when it will be released.)

With the most recent version of Showkase, can you please tell me how to have a link automatically open a URL link within the same window without manually coding it? Thanks!

I would recommend keeping the file size and quality of your images to a level suitable for web gallery use but not high enough for other uses such as printing.

Question about file size and quality. In using Juicebox Builder Pro, I have gone with a setting of Max image Size of 1024x768 and let it resize my images down from the larger files I have started with. By doing so isn't it discarding any excessive resolution that is not needed to support more than that? Is there anything that should be done to assist with faster download times without sacrificing too much visual quality?

Quick follow-up question-

The url link (over the large image) now works perfectly, but it always wants to open to a new window. I have tried _blank, _parent, _self  and _top for the link target in JuiceboxBuilder Pro, but with the same results. How can I force it to open the link in the existing window?

Is there a way to keep the Title that appears at the lower portion of the picture visible even when the cursor moves away from the large image and thumbnails?

Awesome- works as needed- thanks!

I have set the images in a Juicebox gallery (djphoto.com/work1/corporate-events/) to link to a different page (djphoto.com/work1/on-site-printing/) when clicked on. However, for some reason I just cannot get it to work. I did replace the "juicebox.xml" in the presets folder with one specific for this action because this gallery is different than the rest on the site.  However, still no go! Can you please let me know what to look for or what may be causing this not to work? Thank you!

Fair enough. Thanks for the info!

I am having difficulty getting the Pro version of Juicebox to load within Photoshop CS6. Juicebox does show under FILE...SCRIPTS...JUICEBOX. I have already taken the "jbcore" folder from the Juicebox Pro download and pasted it into Program Files/Adobe Photoshop CS6/Presets/Scripts/Juicebox. I then went in the jbcore folder and renamed juicebox.js to ~juicebox.js

Unfortunately, every time I launch Photoshop and go to File, Scripts, Juicebox, it always comes up saying "Lite Options" at the top of the window.

Obviously I am missing something here, but I don't know what . Can you please try and help me narrow this down?
