Thanks, it was very useful to know problem was at my end.
Seems the problem was with my VPN internet connection, for some reason the Juicebox gallery doesn't work.
I used a different VPN or turned off VPN and gallery worked fine.

Just as an aside, is Juicebox still being developed? It's useful to know if using Juicebox in projects whether updates can be expected in the future. I ask because it's been a while since last update.

Many thanks for your help

Here is a test I've uploaded:
http://robertjohn.me/wplightbox/test/

I get 'config file not found error' when I try to open this link

I've cleared cache and restarted browser etc. I get same error in Firefox and Safari

Thanks

thanks yes, I think the file was open

Builder Pro is saving the html file

I'm getting error 'config file not found' when I open the html.index in the gallery folder

The config file is in the gallery folder, with jbcore, images and thumbs

What might I be doing wrong?

here is the html source:

Juicebox builder Pro Mac 10.13

I've re installed, re downloaded and re installed Builder Pro

I create gallery ok

then when I try to save gallery to gallery folder,
the index.html in the gallery folder is blank, it just lists the image titles as plain text

so I can't open the gallery from index.html

Can you help?

Thanks

Builder pro Mac.
I see the check boxes for password and remember password, but I don't get a box to put in a password, am I missing something?
Thanks.

Request option to show thumbnail button only when expanded.

(So embedded gallery shows no thumbnail button - expand to full page and thumbnail button is visible).

Behaviour if thumbs are selected when full page gallery is closed = thumbs disappear when return to embedded gallery.

Would you consider a hot fix just for this iPad pro issue?

Thanks

Hello Juicebox

This is what I want!

http://www.bbc.com/culture/story/201601 … -portraits

This would be for an embedded Juicebox in a page. The juice box component would stretch all the way down the page and display the pictures full width as a list.
Any image clicked pops that image into full screen Juicebox, and you can navigate back and forth through the gallery.

Presume the embedded juicebox component could extend as far down the page as necessary to accommodate the list of images.

Do you think this functionality would be possible? You must be able see how awesome this would be ;)

Thanks

Thats perfect, many thanks

Is it possible to remove the 'VIEW GALLERY' and the overlay from the Splash Image?

I'm using 'splash url' and want the image without anything written over it.

Thanks

Image Nav show on Hover

I'd like to see an option 'Show Nav on Load' same as for 'Show Overlay on Load'.

Reason:
It's possible to rollover the image and see nothing (left side of image if looping un selected). So user sees no Nav and no pointer and assumes it's just a static image.

Thanks

That explains it, and Muse assigns CSS position to all it's elements I would guess.

I prefer the expand in the same page option, but will open in new page for now and look forward to next version.

Many thanks

I have JB embedded into adobe muse page, works fine in the page

When I Expand gallery to full browser, the webpage text/objects show over the top of the JB gallery

JB gallery expands fine with the correct background, but is behind all the webpage objects

Any ideas as to how to correct this

Many thanks

please... a share button in the button bar - click reveals panel of share icons

permanently displaying list of share icons in buttonbar is poor design imo

all web gallery/iOS apps use share button

nice design example - Koken lightbox http://madison.koken.me

in hope, thanks
(haven't read the other posts - apologies if already requested elsewhere)

Works perfectly now.

Great product. Great support. Many thanks!

Is it possible to stop the Caption/Title fade transition?

I do still want the image to transition, but would like Caption to pop change

I'm using some custom html links common to all images and I want that to stay visible

Thanks

When JB is embedded it would be nice to have the option to click the image to Expand JB to full viewport.
Likewise full viewport to full screen

Yes I agree. better to keep all the links buttons in Full Screen

Yes it is with your demo. I noticed it awhile ago but I wasn't too bothered with Full Screen so didn't pay attention.
However I just tested on Macbook Safari and all worked fine.
Just happens on iMac so it's probably something to do with a local glitch going on.
Will assume it all works fine on www

Thanks

JB is 100% x 100% with Use Fullscreen Expand enabled

When in Full Screen and click back button you exit Full Screen and go to the back button url - fine

Problem is if you then go back to the JB gallery, it is still scaled for Full Screen - It's not returned to viewport scale.
Requires refresh but looks like an error.

Suggest back button is hidden in Full Screen to avoid this.
User would then return JB to viewport before clicking back button.

(Chrome doesn't give this problem - it reloads JB page when you go back to it, but Safari, Firefox IE and Opera where giving the error for me)

EDIT
Also I think its best to exit Full Screen before navigating to a new page - more logical I think.
Best to enter and exit Full Screen from the JB full viewport page - then navigate back.
Again, hiding Back button in Full Screen would be better I think

Safari 6.0.5 OS 10.8.4
Running JB full browser 100% x 100%

Click Full Screen Expand does not work first click. Icon changes but no Expand.
Works fine on 2nd click and subsequently.

No probs with Chrome or Firefox - works fine as expected

There are currently issues with Juicbox-Pro API events not being fired in Small Screen Mode but once these are fixed in the next version of Juiecbox-Pro, you might be able to achieve this using the available API events and methods. You could keep track of whether or not the gallery is expanded (by setting a tracking variable when onExpand is fired) and whether or not the thumbnails are displayed (by setting another tracking variable when onShowThumbs is fired) and expand the gallery (using toggleExpand) when an image is selected (when onImageChange is fired) but only if the gallery is currently unexpanded and displaying thumbnails. You could also ensure that when the gallery is unexpanded, the gallery will revert to displaying thumbnails.

Thanks for the info

For the time being I made thumbs outside of JB as buttons since there aren't too many images in gallery.
Used  toggleExpand() and showImage(index) to Expand a LSM JB instance to the correct image (thanks for your API demo).
It works ok but will wait for next release to do as above.

Small Screen Mode style thumbs for Large Screen Mode

JB fills gallery with the grid of thumbs (with nav if overflow)
Clicking any thumb Expands JB full viewport and shows image.

Current SSM does not expand to full viewport on thumb click.
No need to show Expand button on thumb page since thumb click would Expand JB.
Would like thumbs to be able to populate the the full gallery area right up to edges (without the SSM padding around the outside)

Reason for asking -
I would like to have a grid of thumbs on a web page. Click any thumb expands JB image full viewport, kind of like a lightbox function. I don't want the gallery to play on the page, only full viewport.

Any chance of this?
Thanks

Image Nav option - click anywhere always advances to Next Image.

Works great, thanks for prompt reply.

In order to get curser pointer to work on the splash image - is this correct?

.jb-splash
{
    cursor: pointer;
}

Many thanks
