Thank you

Didn't see it mentioned but use of the Photoshop Image Processor will help to automate this process.

Would like a fit or fill option for thumbnails.
Did notice a post on this subject relating to another application (iMatch???).
Thanks
Bernie

thanks

Only have 1 version of PS installed. Have latest version of CC. No confirmation in activity stream - no mention of JB at all. Will install from zip as suggested. Will also try install on Windows machine and see if it works there.
Bernie

Attempted install of JB Plugin for PS without success.
PS CC 2015.5 MAC OSX 10.11.6
1. Turned on files->sync in CC app
2. Followed link to adobe from your PS Plugin support page.
3. Clicked "free" then "install"
4. Followed all instructions. No errors or strangeness.
5. Rebooted system.
6. Opened PS with some files.
7. NO JUICEBOX item in files->scripts
8. No record of install in activity list in CC app.
9. No Juicebox folder in users->library->application support->adobe->Photoshop CC 2015.5->presets->scripts. (in fact no "scripts" folder.)

Thanks
Bernie

Thanks very much!

Two more suggestions,

1) maintain metadata in generated jpg's -- at least color profile, very important for proper display!

2) Email button -- would prefer server side form instead of calling local email client.

1) divide config.xml into 2 files, one for parameters and one for gallery content. Would make sharing of options with multiple galleries possible.

2) implement "Using a Resizable Gallery with a Header" as mentioned in the embedding guide.

3) Seperate colors for different thumbnail states.

4) Background and forground colors for backbutton.

In the Embedding Guide you mention that there is a technique for dynamically resizing the gallery when using a header on the page. You mentioned that this would be javascript code utilizing the jQuery library. Do you have any example code which demonstrates the technique?
I have managed to do more or less the same thing without the use of JavaScript, but it is not totally satisfactory.

Unfortunately the suggested work around is not acceptable, as the main reason I chose JB was for it's full screen capabilty.
I will await the developer's fix.

When returning to an embedded gallery page from an expanded gallery, the embedded page does not disply the gallery properly. The gallery page is wider than the browser window! Horizontal scroll bars are added to the browser window and the image is not centered. You must scroll to see the whole image or to make buttons visable.
This is not consistent. Sometimes it happens, sometimes not. Sometimes if the browser full screen button (not the juicebox expand button) is pressed and then leave the browser full screen, the problem goes away. Only somtimes!
Seems to happen with all browsers and all OS's.

I had same problem. Was due to incorrect Viewport meta statement. When I changed to what is currently generated by the Juicebox app, problem went away. If you change the Viewport statement, make sure you clear browser cache before testing.

When using IE v11, or Edge, the email button does not pass the image reference to the email client. The text in the email message is just "Regarding image " with nothing more. Using Firefox, Safari, Chrome, or Opera, no problem.

the parameters galleryHeight and galleryWidth are present in both the config.xml file and in the embedded HTML code.
Does one override the other? Are they cumulative? Why is this duplicated?

Thanks for the response.
I made an error in my last post --- all the thumbnails were generated, it was the small files that were not generated. Site still works, even on my iPhone.
I have set up an ftp account for you on my server. the server is [host deleted]
user name is [username deleted] (you must use the whole name)
password is [password deleted]
there are three directories -- source, large, medium, and thumbs. Each contains the appropriate jpeg.
the parameters for image size were as follows:
Thumbs 85 85 90
medium 1620 1080 90
Large 3000 2000 90
small 800 600 90

Note that the medium and thumbs were generated per spec. The large has a long side as 2048 (the default) instead of the 3000 specified and the small not generated at all.

I will delete the ftp account in one week.

Thanks
Bernie

On further investigation I have found the following.
There were 14 images in the gallery. The error messages were generated for 11 of the 14. The large, small, and medium jpegs were created, but the thumbnails for the 11 images with the error message were not generated. Also, the large jpegs were smaller than the size I specified for all the images, except 1 which was generated at the specified size.
Just purchased the product and using for first time. Very disappointed in this performance. If this turns out to be full of bugs like this, I will ask for my money back.
This is very, very bad!!!

I have tried to create a gallery using jpegs that are 4000 pixels on their longest side. The shortest side is 2680 or less for all files. All files generate the following message (one for each file):

Error resizing image: 'Three Peaks on a Cloudy Morning 0020 NX.jpg'. Possibly the image was too large or invalid. Images must be smaller than 4095 x 4095 pixels.

All files are therefore 11 megapixels or less, well below the Adobe Air limit!

Can this be fixed??
