Yes. Juicebox comes bundled with its own version of jQuery (inside the 'juicebox.js' JavaScript file) which it uses internally.
This avoids the need to manually include a separate version of jQuery in the gallery's web page.
However, you can still load jQuery into a web page containing a Juicebox gallery for use elsewhere on the page.
Loading any version of jQuery (including v3.0.0) into a gallery's web page should have no effect on the Juicebox gallery itself.
