Topic: XML Caption Display Issues [SOLVED]

I have juicebox embedded on a page and there seems to be a problem with the caption text coming out of the config.xml. The scenario is that I have multiple images, some of which have caption text and some do not. If I use autoplay or click on the thumbs to change the main image, if the first image has a caption and the second image does not, the second image maintains the caption for the first image and then puts the third image caption over top of the first image caption, on the second image being displayed. So essentially the second image, that has no caption, is showing caption text for the image before it and after it, and they are sitting on top of each other. I've not been able to fix this no matter what I do. What can I do to fix this issue. It seems like an issue with juicebox because I've not done anything to manipulate the code for this. I have screen capture of it, but I don't see a way to attach an image in this help forum. Thanks for the help!

As far as I can remember, I have not encountered such a problem before and, unfortunately, a screenshot would not help me troubleshoot it.
I would really need to see the gallery live on your web server (so that I can check the code on the web page and the gallery's configuration options).
If possible, please post the URL to your gallery's web page so that I can take a look and the problem for myself and hopefully help further.
Otherwise, please post your gallery's configuration options so that I can try to replicate the problem in a test gallery of my own.

Also, if you are not already using the latest version of Juicebox-Pro (v1.4.4.1), then please try upgrading your gallery to see if this helps. (Your problem may be caused by a bug in a previous version which has since been fixed.)

I am running v1.4.4.1 (latest). I am unable to provide you a link to my dev site at the time, but here is my config.xml and my theme.css. These are the only things that would be "custom". Thanks!

I figured this out. By simply changing the class .jb-cap-frame to include: left: 0px; this caused the problem. I will overwrite that css in a different way.

**this is what causes the previous and next caption to stay visible and overwrite the previous one.
