Topic: [SOLVED] Sharing on facebook thumbs

Hi Guys,

Nice work, I'm loving your new gallery, upgrading form simpleviewer!

I'm trying to add the facebook's share button but having no succes to show the thumb button.

I already saw some posts about Adobe's Lightroom exported images and facebook rules. I'm pretty sure I'm following all the specification. What could be going wrong?

[Seems like the problem is with the images... I tried to edit the images using paint but it doen't solve the problem. Using Feliz Turner's images it works.

The question is: HOW CAN I FIX THE IMAGES AFTER EXPORTING FROM LIGHTROOM?]

Regards,

Pau Storch

HOW CAN I FIX THE IMAGES AFTER EXPORTING FROM LIGHTROOM?

You would need to open them and re-save them in a different program (such as Adobe Photoshop).

Re: [SOLVED] Sharing on facebook thumbs

Hi Steven,

That's right, but I can tell you more. Facebook doesn't show images with ICC embebded. So thgere are several ways to solve the problem, but none in Lightroom.

Creating an action in Photoshop is the easiest one for now.

Cheers,

Pau

Re: [SOLVED] Sharing on facebook thumbs

A new version of the Juicebox web module for Adobe Lightroom has been released (v1.3.3.1) which fixes the problem of Facebook thumbnails not being displayed. The web module can be downloaded from this web page.

For non-Lightroom users who are still faced with the problem of Facebook thumbnails not being displayed, try stripping all EXIF data from your gallery images by resaving your images in an imaging program (with EXIF data deselected) or resizing them in JuiceboxBuilder (which strips all EXIF data by default).
