Topic: Juicebox Freezes

I can install JB, no issues. 
I can add images.  No issues
.But when I select "Customize" the window Freezes.  And the opening window does not move.
I select Publish the back screen goes black.  No code, nothing.  Frozen.

What is wrong with this program?

Hi,

What is the version of Adobe AIR you installed?

I just tried on testing PC with latest version of AIR runtime - version 50.2.1.1, and getting the same issue with you.

I then uninstalled the AIR 50.2.1.1 and download to install AIR runtime including WebKit - version 33.1.1.744. It works and back to normal.

As snaky says, please check that you are using AIR v33.1.1.744. The problem you describe sounds exactly like the issue mentioned in the other forum thread you replied to (https://juicebox.net/forum/viewtopic.php?id=5318).

The most recent version of the AIR runtime (AIR v50.2.1.1) does not have WebKit support (the embedded browser that Juicebox uses for the live preview on the Customize tab) and if you were using this version of AIR, it would make sense that you do not experience any issues until you enter the Customization panel.

Please ensure that you are using AIR v33.1.1.744 (uninstall and pre-existing versions of AIR first) and this should hopefully resolve your problem.

If you continue to experience difficulties, please provide screenshots (attach them to a forum post or upload them somewhere and provide a download link) so that I can see what you are seeing. It might help to troubleshoot your problem.

I also do have the exact same problem. Started this morning and the screen keeps freezing. Can't do anything. And when i try to make a second gallery the program writes over the first gallery

Was it working OK prior to this morning? If so, can you think of anything that changed on your system between it last working and just now (any AIR or operating system or anti-virus program updates)?

First of all, please ensure that you are using AIR v33.1.1.744 (links in the post above).
If you are using v50.2.1.1 (or any version after v33.1.1.744), then please uninstall your current version first before installing v33.1.1.744.

Also, try temporarily disabling any third party anti-virus or security software that you might have installed in case this is somehow interfering with JuiceboxBuilder's functionality.
(Please do so at your own risk and be sure to disconnect from the internet first.)

Until you get things working again, it would be wise to save each new gallery to a separate folder (with a unique name). Create a new empty folder for a gallery first (before opening JuiceboxBuilder-Pro) and then point towards it on the 'Publish' tab (assuming you can get that far into the process).

I am a new user, installed Juicebox yesterday, aswell as Adobe Air. So i didn't have any expirience it for the first time.
Air: 33.1.1.98. I can't find the version you refer to.

How can i delete this air version?
