Topic: juicebox.js and hacking pro-options in Lightroom plugin

Many config options from the pro version are (sadly) not exposed in the Lightroom plugin, but if a static template/preset based on the pro-options is needed, these options can be "hacked" into the Lightroom export by copy/pasting the relevant XML attributes from a gallery created by juiceboxbuilder into the confix.xml file found in juicebox.lrwebengine. However, some config options seems to require another version of juicebox.js than the one that comes in the Lightroom plugin. For example having the thumbs to the left in a 4x6 grid.

Question:
Is the juicebox.js file in the Lightroom plugin just purposely limited in functionality, or will different gallery setups imply different juicebox.js files when the galleries are exported from juiceboxbuilder?

The Juicebox plugin for Lightroom comes bundled with Juicebox-Lite.
In order to use Juicebox-Pro configuration options, it is necessary to purchase Juicebox-Pro (from this web page) and upgrade the plugin following the 'Upgrading to Juicebox-Pro' instructions on the Lightroom Plugin page.

Yes. If you upgrade the Juicebox plugin for Lightroom, you will be replacing the 'jbcore' folder that the plugin currently uses with the latest Juicebox-Lite 'jbcore' folder which comes with the plugin.
Threrefore, you would need to replace the plugin's Juicebox-Lite 'jbcore' folder with the latest Juicebox-Pro 'jbcore' folder by following the 'Upgrading to Juicebox-Pro' instructions on this web page.

When a new version of Juicebox is released, a new version of the Juicebox plugin for Lightroom is released soon after.
It is recommended that you update the plugin (and then upgrade to Pro) as there may be other Lightroom-related bugfixes or additional features incorporated into the plugins's files as well as the new 'jbcore' folder.
