Topic: image link mailto

I would like to create a mailto link when clicking on an image in juicebox pro. However, clicking on the image opens a blank browser window, then the mailto. How do I eliminate the blank browser window?

This seems to be somewhat browser specific. Firefox 12, Chrome 19 and Safari 5.1.7 open a new tab/window (no matter what the linkTarget is set to) but IE9 does not.
I have logged a bug report to see if it is possible to suppress the opening of a new tab/window when using a 'mailto' link in the linkURL across all browsers.

I don't suppose there is a quick workaround. I'm getting ready to go live with a site.

A workaround would be to put the mailto link in the caption text rather than on image click.
