Topic: Stopping new browser tab [SOLVED]

Is there a way of preventing gallery appearing in new browser tab.  The gallery page of my web site has a page of photos, clicking on a photo calls a specific gallery on a web page. It all works, but the web page with the gallery is displayed in a new tab.

Must have had a senior moment - forgot to alter target on href from _blank to _self.
