Topic: wp-content/uploads/juicebox folder permissions with WP 422 upgrade

I recently updated my WP install from 3.9.x to 4.2.2. As per the WP instructions, I disabled all my plug-ins, did the upgrade, (which seemed to go fine), and then went back to re-activate the plug-ins.

They all activated fine except Juicebox, with a message that WP could not set the wp-content/uploads/juicebox folder permissions, and that I should "do it manually".

Went in there and set them to 777 using Fetch, but attempting to activate the plug-in still generates the same error.

Any idea what I'm doing wrong here?

Thanks for any help out there,

Re: wp-content/uploads/juicebox folder permissions with WP 422 upgrade

Try manually setting the permissions of the '/wp-content/uploads/juicebox/' folder to 755. That should hopefully work as those are the permissions that WP-Juicebox tries to automatically set and if the plugin sees that the permissions are already 755, it should skip onto the next check.
