I'm using LIVEBOOKS for my website. I upload thru the FTP.
I don't know where to locate my "web servers file structure". I put that query into livebooks search and nothing returned.
I am trying to load proofs for a client to view. I want to display on a page of it's own
I uploaded 12 images. Six images show up and then the spinning hex.
Pretty frustrating experience after paying $50.00 to replace airtight simpleviewer.
I don't know how to "create a folder named "webtest in my root directory since I dont know what or where that is so if you could talk to me like I'm a dummy i would appreciate it .
Hello,
I see this "answer" in the forum but do not understand how to " check that you have uploaded your gallery's 'images' and 'thumbs' folders to the correct location on your web server (inside your 'webbtest' directory) and make sure that the permissions on the folders and files are not too restrictive. Default permissions of 755 for folders and 644 for files should be fine."
......... I dont know where the WEB DIRECTORY is or permissions etc.. sorry, not web savy.
.
My images show locally, but not when I upload them to my website. Why?
Also, looking at your gallery's XML file, the first image in your gallery should be located here:
http://www.creation.se/webbtest/images/1_startsida.jpg
.. but going directly to that location in a browser results in an error 404 (file not found).
lease check that you have uploaded your gallery's 'images' and 'thumbs' folders to the correct location on your web server (inside your 'webbtest' directory) and make sure that the permissions on the folders and files are not too restrictive. Default permissions of 755 for folders and 644 for files should be fine.
