Try setting buttonBarPosition="NONE" (in JuiceboxBuilder-Pro's 'Customize -> Button Bar' section).
Worked fine! One last thing - I would like to get right of the left and right arrows that display on mouse-over.
Thank you, this worked beautifully.
Another question: can I get rid of the buttons that appear in the top right corner of images?
I want to embed a gallery in a web page. In a table between <TD> tags - in other words, in a table cell. But when loaded the gallery fills the entire screen. Can I do this? Thanks

I answered my own questions -- parentheses don't work.
Could parentheses be the problem?
When I import photos to JBB only a few of the images show on the Images page (see attachment). The gallery published OK but not seeing the images makes it impossible to change the order. The JPGs are all exported from Lightroom. Thanks.
I created a new gallery and in JB only a few of the images are displaying (see attachment). When I publish the gallery it is fine and works as expected. None of my other galleries have this issue. Thanks.
I have my captions set to display superimposed on the photo at the lower left corner. If I move to the next photo using the right-arrow key the caption does not display until I move the mouse. I am using Edge on Windows 10.

This button opens a new browser window showing the image full-size. Two things:
1) Can the image caption be displayed?
2) Can the page title, as displayed in the browser tab, be something other than the file name?
Thanks
I would like to prevent browsers from caching my JBB Pro web pages. I know how to do it with meta tags but every time I regenerate the page I have to add these tags manually. Is there a way to automate this?
Sometimes my captions are cut off when they are too long for the space provided. See attached screen shot. The full caption ends "...Morehead City, North Carolina." This is particularly a problem with vertical photos and on smaller screens. It would be great if the caption could automatically stretch to fit the text. Possible?
I revised one of my galleries, adding some photos, removing others, and changing the order. After publishing, the gallery shows the old photos in the old order. I have done all I can think of, including deleting all the files locally and remotely and regenerating everything from scratch. When I look in config.xml the proper photos are listed in the proper order. What can be causing this?
I have got this working except for one thing. The three icons at the top right of the gallery screen - hide thumbnails, etc. - display simply as squares and not the icons that used to be there. The buttons work, however.
I tried what you suggested but am denied permission to edit index.html in the template folder. I am logged on as administrator.
Thank you for your answer. But if I understand how things work, this code will be regenerated each time I modify the gallery, say to add an image or modify a caption. And I'll have to edit the code again. Sort of defeats the whole purpose.
I have figured out how to customize this css file to get the look I want. But I have over a dozen galleries that should use this modified stylesheet. I want to have a single copy of theme.css that all galleries reference rather than a separate copy for each gallery. Is this possible? Thanks.
When I do a link check of my site, these files are referenced in some of the CSS files that JB uses, but they are not present. Things seem to work OK, however. Do I need them? Where do I get them?
I have used JB Builder Pro to design a gallery that is just how I want it to be in terms of colors, text placement, and so on. I want the same settings to be the default when I use the LR plugin - with different images, of course. I thought of taking the config.xml file that JB Builder created, deleting the image info, and putting that file in the LR plugin folder. Is this a valid approach?
Every time I start my system I am asked if the Java Auto Updater can make changes to the computer. I say yes, but the message does not stop appearing. This started at the time I installed Juicebox and I wonder if there is some connection.
Steven wrote:What version of JuiceboxBuilder-Pro are you using ('Help -> About JuiceboxBuilder-Pro...')?
The current version is v1.4.0. If you are not already using v1.4.0, then please try upgrading following the instructions here.
If you are already using v1.4.0, then it certainly sounds like something is amiss. I cannot replicate the problem. Dragging and dropping images into a new order works fine for me, as do the 'Images -> Sort' options.
Try uninstalling and reinstalling JuiceboxBuilder-Pro to see if this helps.
Does this happen with all galleries (try creating a new sample gallery with a few images in JuiceboxBuilder-Pro) or just certain ones?
I am using ver 1.4.0 on Windows 7 64 bit.
I discovered that after restarting JB and re-opening my gallery, I can drag/drop thumbs on the Images page. But if I then use one of the Image->Sort commands, the command has no effect on the image order plus I can no longer drag/drop.
Steven wrote:Opening a gallery (created in Lightroom or by any other method) in JuiceboxBuilder-Pro should not change the order of the images (unless you change the order yourself by dragging and dropping thumbnails on the 'Images' tab or by using the 'Images -> Sort' options from the drop-down menu at the top).
JuiceboxBuilder-Pro should just read the list of images from the 'config.xml' file and initially display them in the order that they are listed in.
Any additional images you add to a gallery in JuiceboxBuilder-Pro are added to the end of the gallery. They are not automatically put into alphabetical (or any other) order. However, once you have added all the images for your gallery, you can re-order them using the 'Images -> Sort' options from the drop-down menu at the top.
Something is not working right. On the Images page I cannot drag an image to a new location - it appears to drag but when dropped stays in the original location. Also, none of the Image->Sort commands have any effect.
My workflow is to export images from Lightroom using sequential names such as Alaska-001, Alaska-002 etc. then drag into JB. The image order changes in an odd way. In the gallery, images 004 thru 028 might be at the beginning and images 001-003 are at the end. Randomize images is off. Is there another option I am missing?
Thanks, this is very helpful. As regards font size, is there a similar CSS way to change the font size of the caption and filename?
I have not been able to figure out these things - can they be done? If not, perhaps they can be considered for the next update to JB,
1) Change the font size of the gallery title.
2) When I display a centered caption (e.g., the file name) and the image number e.g., 4/24) below the image, the caption is not actually centered, it is a bit off to the left.
Thanks,
Peter
