Greetings,

After installing Juicebox-Pro 1.4.4.2 I have started getting this error in the Lightroom Web module:

Juicebox Error: Config XML file not found.

To reiterate, this is while using the Juicebox-Pro plugin in Lightroom itself - the error appears in Lightroom.  The plugin works OK at first but then at some point while making Juicebox configuration changes (right-hand LR panel) the main LR pain (the big one in the middle where the preview is) turns a solid light gray color with only the above error message appearing.  When it does this seems to be random in that the point at which this problem occurs does not seem to correlate with any particular setting or number of setting changes.  Once this problem occurs, the only fix seems to be to exit LR's Web module and then re-enter it... at which point all the previously-made changes are gone and the Juicebox plugin appears to be reset to its default settings.

I have now tried to generate a Juicebox gallery five or six times using the 1.4.4.2 LR plugin and so far have not been able to.

O.K.  I've put the test gallery here for now (please let me know when you've seen what you need to so I can take it down).  If you need it, I can archive the whole gallery and provide a link to the resulting zip file.

I am still using OS X 10.6.8.

I have tried clearing the browser caches but it doesn't help.

imagePreloading is unset, but specifically setting it to "PAGE" or "NEXT" does not help.

The demo gallery you posted a link to works fine for me - I do not see the problem that I am having.

Specifically, what happens is that when transitioning to a new image, the old image seems to fade out properly and the next image begins to fade in but then the image goes completely black for a short bit and then snaps back all at once.  The issue is by far worst in Chrome (33.0.1750.152), less so in Safari (5.1.10) and does not occur in Firefox (27.0.1).

Thanks again.

I'm having this problem too - severe flickering in Chrome and less dramatic, but still problematic flickering in Safari.  Works fine in Firefox.  All on OS X.  So far I am using only the unmodified index.html file generated by Juicebox itself.  I really want cross-fade, but failing a workaround, will at this point have to settle for a transition that works right in all browsers.   I can post a link to a test gallery if it helps at all.

Thanks.

Edit to add: I am using Juicebox-pro

That worked.  As expected I lost my user-saved presets - it's inconvenient but not a big deal.

Thanks!

No luck.  Still not working.

AIR is version 4.0.0.1390
JuiceboxBuilder-pro is 1.3.3

I tried uninstalling JuiceboxBuilder-pro via the installer, deleting /Users/your_username/Library/Application Support/Adobe/AIR/ELS/JuiceboxBuidler-Pro/ then reinstalling JuiceboxBuilder-pro and I am still seeing the same problem.  The app starts and displays the "Start" screen but then won't load or create a gallery.  It doesn't crash or anything, it is still there, and clicking  "Open Gallery" again will again display the file selection dialog, but selecting something from that dialog continues to do nothing.

It had been working fine until last night and I haven't changed or installed or updated anything recently.  I had been running Photoshop CS5 when the problem began (I usually use CC but still occasionally need CS5 for its scanner support and this was almost certainly the first time I've run it since buying Juicebox Pro) but can't think of anything otherwise that I haven't done tons of times before.

Greetings,

JuiceboxBuilder-Pro had been working fine for me but today I tried to load an existing gallery and nothing happened... so I tried to create a new gallery and again nothing.  The application itself opened without problem and clicking "Open Gallery..." brings up the "Select Gallery Folder" dialog but after selecting the folder nothing happens.  Clicking "New Gallery..." does nothing at all.

Help!

Thanks.

OS X 10.6.8

Thanks!

Is there any way to embed a mailto:  email link in a gallery - either as an icon (like the way social media is done) or text (e.g. something like "Contact me" but preferably custom text)?  If there isn't... could I request that as a feature?  It would be very useful for me.  Thanks!
