Hi steven,

and thanks for your fast reply and suggestions.
I will have a look to fix/install that.

Hi,

i built a website with some embedded galleries.
Now i have the problem that the galleries don't load always on iOS devices.
Mostly that happens on 3G, but sometimes even on WLAN/WiFi.
What i find strange is, that in one moment it works and five minutes later,
without doing anything, the galleries won't load. On a Mac everything is fine.

I tried two different versions, one with base url, but the problem is on both versions.

Maybe you can have a look and have any idea what i did wrong...?

Thanks a lot

Martin

Hi Steven,

and thanks again for your help.
Your code didn't match it exactly, but i think i solved it with this line,
which works fine at the moment :

<div id="juicebox-container" style="position:absolute; top:50px; left:180px;"></div>

One more question, and i know this has probably nothing to do with juicebox...
But when i use a header at the top with a horizontal navigation, the gallery is resizable,
but not when the header is on the left hand side with the vertical navigation.

Is it "just" because of the way the header area is positioned/implemented ?

You can see the differences in the 2 portfolio sections here :

Thanks Martin

Hi Steven,

and thanks for your fast answer, i will test it tomorrow.

Regards Martin

hi,

i would like to embed 5 juicebox galleries on a new website with a side navigation.
the website is defined with a minimum width of 1024 px, with an area of 180 x 700 px for the navigation.

but when i try to embed the galleries they start underneath those 700 px,
even with trying to use a margin of 180 px.

you can see the test version with test galleries in the first two sections here :

http://www.juicebox.luther-photography.de

i used this :

<!--START JUICEBOX EMBED-->
<script src="jbcore/juicebox.js"></script>
<script>
new juicebox({
containerId : "juicebox-container",
galleryWidth: "100%",
galleryHeight: "100%",
backgroundColor: "rgba(255,255,255,1)"
});
</script>
</script><div id="juicebox-container" style="margin: 180px;"></div>
<!--END JUICEBOX EMBED-->

did i "just" embed those incorrectly or do i need jquery for embedding those galleries ?

thanks and regards

martin

hi steven,

and thanks for your again quick reply.
i will try and play with that code.

martin

hi,

i just bought juicebox pro a few days ago and like to embed a resizeable gallery into an existing page with a header,
which works fine with setting the height at 90%, except of the little problem, that on an iPad, using the large screen mode,
the thumbnails aren't visible at first. i saw your example in your guide with a top menu and you wrote that you were using jquery.
is it possible to explain how you did that, or to give me something like a code example that i can adapt.

thanks martin

hi,

i have a question before buying juicebox pro or even showcase.

is it possible to navigate in a thumbnails row with mouseover on the last thumbnail in that row to show the next thumbnails,
instead of using the next arrow ? and as well on the first to show the previous thumbs....

and if not, is it possible to change the speed of the next thumbnails slip in ?

thanks

martin
