Topic: Adobe muse embed - expand [SOLVED]

I have JB embedded into adobe muse page, works fine in the page

When I Expand gallery to full browser, the webpage text/objects show over the top of the JB gallery

JB gallery expands fine with the correct background, but is behind all the webpage objects

Any ideas as to how to correct this

Many thanks

Re: Adobe muse embed - expand [SOLVED]

There is currently a known bug whereby elements which have explicitly been assigned a CSS position are not covered by the fullscreen gallery (they should be). This bug should hopefully be fixed in a future version of Juicebox.

It sounds like this might be the cause of your problem. Please try one of the two following suggestions:

(1) Set useFullscreenExpand="TRUE" (in JuiceboxBuilder-Pro's 'Customize -> Lite' section).
... or:
(2) Set expandInNewPage="TRUE" in (in JuiceboxBuilder-Pro's 'Customize -> General' section). When the gallery is expanded, it will be displayed on a page of its own rather than on top of the embedding page.

Hopefully one (or both) of these suggestions will be a suitable solution to your problem until the bug is fixed.

Re: Adobe muse embed - expand [SOLVED]

That explains it, and Muse assigns CSS position to all it's elements I would guess.

I prefer the expand in the same page option, but will open in new page for now and look forward to next version.

Many thanks

Re: Adobe muse embed - expand [SOLVED]

This bug (whereby elements from the embedding web page may still be visible after a gallery has been expanded) has now been fixed in v1.4.3. Please see this blog entry for more information on the latest version.
