Topic: Are juicebox demos available as a download ?

Hello !

I would like to know if juicebox demos (http://juicebox.net/demos) are available as a download (a zip file for example) somewhere ? They're a good starting point to building a custom gallery (especially a manual one), but it is now quite tedious to get them working locally, as it implies downloading each file and image one by one...

The Juicebox demos are not available to download as a zip file.

If you would like to replicate the layout of one of the demos, you may find that it is available as a Preset in JuiceboxBuilder-Pro (in the 'Load Preset' drop-down menu on the 'Customize' tab). Just load the Preset and all the relevant configuration options will be applied to your gallery in a single action.

If the demo you are looking to replicate is not represented in the 'Load Preset' drop-down menu, you can download the demo gallery's XML file and load it as a Preset using the 'Presets -> Load Preset...' option from the drop-down menu at the top.

How? Where? I've tried the config.xml and it doesn't work. The main reason I purchased Juicebox was to recreate the demos. It's a bit frustrating they aren't loaded by default.

The following demo gallery layouts are included as presets in the current version of JuiceboxBuilder-Pro: Colors, Embedded, Full, Hong Kong, Sharing, Simple, Slider, Top Left. (They can be selected from the 'Load Preset' drop down menu on the 'Customize' tab).

The XML files for galleries can usually be found manually by adding 'config.xml' to the demo gallery's URL.
For example, the 'Flat' demo gallery can be found here: http://www.juicebox.net/demos/pro/flat/
The 'Flat' demo gallery's XML file can be found here: http://www.juicebox.net/demos/pro/flat/config.xml

If you save the 'Flat' demo gallery's XML file to your hard drive, then you can open it as a preset via the 'Presets -> Load Preset...' option from the drop-down menu at the top of JuiceboxBuilder-Pro.
