Topic: No gallery shown on wordpress article overview site

I tried to insert a juicebox gallery with the wordpress plugin in one of my articles. In the article itself it works without any problems (see here: http://www.flomo.cc/wordpress/jjkm-im-landelurlaub/). The curious thing is, that the inserted gallery is not visible on the overview site of the wordpress blog (see here: http://www.flomo.cc/wordpress/). The article with its text is shown, but not the inserted gallery. Is this problem concerning the settings of juicebox or do I have to check the setting of my wordpress blog?

The gallery should be displayed in both the main WordPress page and in its own post page as the same shortcode handler method is used (to process the shortcode tag and convert it into embedding code) in both cases.
Perhaps your current WordPress theme disables the processing of shortcode tags on the main page.
Try temporarily reverting to the default WordPress theme and then reload your main page to see if the gallery is displayed.
If it is, then perhaps you can change your theme's shortcode handling behavior within its Dashboard settings.

Your were right with your suggestion about the shortcode handling in my wordpress theme. I built it by myself with artisteer and there in the forum I found the solution: http://www.artisteer.com/?post_id=17193 … orum_id=13
