Hi Steven, thank you for your response.
1) I uninstalled the latest AIR and uploaded AIR v33.1.1.744, rebooted computer.
2) Am using Imac Pro 2017 - intel xeon.   Latest Sequoia 15.2 OS.
3) previous imports of galleries into 1.5.1 JB pro using Windows 10 worked perfectly fine.  But I have now no windows machine.
4) using Open Gallery in JBB Pro, open the main folder that contains sub folder of image and the index and config.xml file.   JBB opens but does not show any files. 
5) I tried manually importing the images via "add images".   
6) the overall website structure is still there and I can see the imported images, but the "title and caption" for each image is missing and reverted back to the image file name.

Second post of the day.   I am considering getting another laptop running on snapdragon x elite.   Is juiceboxbuilder-pro compatible with this processor?

Hi,  I created my website on a Windows laptop using JBB-Pro a few years back.   I'm now using a Mac laptop latest OS.  I downloaded the  Adobe Air for mac.   I could not open the galleries i created using windows laptop on my mac.  Nothing imports.    I did try to search the forum but couldn't find the answer.  Does anyone know whether galleries created on a windows machine can be imported into a mac?   Thanks in advance.
