Try saving your web engine settings as a template ('Web -> New Template') from the drop down menu at the top of Lightroom 6. You can change your web engine settings and create another template with the new settings.
Then, when creating a gallery, you can switch between templates in the Template Browser control panel (to the left of the live preview window).
I hope this helps.

Reading sure helps.
I searched on Adobe help how to create a template and found it with delay. Only now I notice that You actually wrote the 'how-to' just here. I must have been still asleep in the morning when I noticed your reply.
It works a charme, thanks !

What I pity is that nowhere can I find that inserting a <BR> in the caption will actually create a new line in the caption.
Took me probably half an hour to find that.

Great support from You, thanks again !

Hi Steven,

sounds like a solution.
I have not been using the 'save Web gallery' successful until now. Will be trying this, thanks for your answer.

Hi all,

I am currently using JB with my desktop LR6 application (I am not using CC).
The plugin is setup and when I want to export a website there are only a few things I do:
-add pictures to a collection (smart collections for my website are taking the pictures from there)
-if necessary change the target web-folder I need
-click on export

I am planning on a change now, which involves a second license and a second place pictures are to be in.
As a result I'd like to have some kind of "two settings" for the plug-in.
I recall that some time ago (I am talking lots of months and do not even remember which version of JB or LR I had then), I was unable to click on another layout style without loosing the settings of the JB plugin.
1st question) Is this still valid, or can I come back to the plugin and find the settings as I have used them 'last time I was using them'.

2nd question) What would be the best choice to have two settings of the plugin. There will be differences in water-mark, setup of the site, buttons, colors, etc.

Yes, I can write down the settings in some way, but I would rather prefer to have a possibility of "loading website 1 settings", using them and if I need the other settings "load the website 2 settings".

Thanks for your proposals how to do this best,
Ruud

The only way to integrate EXIF data into image titles or captions would be to use the Lightroom plugin.

Just because of your hint, I decided to give this a try, works a charme. Now LR's plugin will generate a caption with EXIF data automatically, thank You for pointing this out.

OK, I solved my main issue also.
I thought I was allowed to write a Subfolder like 2016/January inside the plugin window.
It is working and storing the files correctly, but the next time this is replaced by "photos".

After I changed the main folder in the FTP settings, this was working correctly again.

So I am up and running again, leaving me only for a small wish to somehow save the settings I have in my LR plugin for future usage, is this possible somewhere ?

Hi,

This is because I have not been using the app lately, sorry up front.
I have set up JB some time ago to be working straight from Adobe LR through the plugin.
The setup allowed for a simple workflow:
-add pictures to a catalog
-only once per month change the preferred directory of my website to be installed
-upload the pictures onto my website with one click

As I have not been using it a longer time, I checked the download site from JB to find a newer version. I downloaded it and wanted to install it. Reading around learned that I installed it before by manually copying the provided directory to C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Lightroom\Web Galleries\ (as I use Windows 7)
I rename the available juicebox_pro.lrwebengine to juicebox_proOLD.lrwebengine before this.

When I now restart LR the settings I had until now are all forgotten :(
Can anyone give me a hint how to get these back, so I do not have to re-configure everything new, I already forgot all my settings I had until now.
EDIT: Been active, got most settings back.

In LR6, it shows that Plugin 1.4.3.0 is still active, this I do not understand.
EDIT: A restart of my PC solved this, now I see the latest version.

And the main question why I wanted a newer version is actually 'forgotten':
-LR is forgetting my settings of my preferred directory on my FTP server.
-until a few months ago, I usually enter the preferred directory at the start of a month and upload each time I have new pictures in my catalog. As a result the site is renewed for that very month each time I upload.
-but now, when I leave the WEB tab and go f.e. to DEVELOP, the next time I enter WEB I notice that again the settings are forgotten and I see a "photos" directory to be where my preferred directory used to be
EDIT: Also this seem to have been a setting in my 'old' LR6 and Plugin combination. At the moment this is working correct.

I hope that anyone can give me a hint, thanks in advance,
Ruud

While this might be available in any of the offered software-programs, I am not aware of a solution.

I'd like to see a way where a photo which is extremely wide, as it is a panorama, being shown with an automatic sliding from left-to-right. So the user will see the most left part of the picture after which it is slid out on the left side revealing the whole pictures gradually. Currently I am unable to show panorama's (normally).

If, as said, I am unaware, but such is possible, please do excuse me and hint me in the direction of either the way how to do it or the software which is capable of adding this.

Hi all,

In using the export and upload function in the LightRoom plugin I have problems understanding why there is a difference.
If I completely set up the FTP for uploading, I can just click. I am prompted to overwrite if I agree, after that the process just does what it should to "update" the website on the FTP with what is my current status quo.

Doing the same with the export button is giving different results. I use that function to place a copy of my settings on my HDD, just in case. If there is no directory available and I give the name of the directory, all is being exported just as nice as the upload does. But if it is already available, I cannot save with the same name again.
My 'workaround' is to first delete the copy I made last time. Is this foreseen like this or am I simply doing something wrong here.

Best regards,
Ruud

РРHello Steven,

Next they I rebooted my PC to take care of backing up and trying some more things. First thing I noticed was that the image was to recent to have gotten into any backup. Second, that the image can now be opened, copied etc. It is fully OK. My website has already changed to another version of this picture, nothing seen there. I was able to add additional picture yesterday, also no problems.

So I started making copies of my pictures to BR, NAS and ext. HDD. I'll see how the story ccontinues.

Thanks for your support,
Ruud

PS Am unable to delete the two Р characters, some Android problem.

Hi Steven,

The file nor its location have changed, but trying to open it with AR also gives an error. This might be my HDD 'underneath' this very file, but I find it verstrange . but sorry for thinking about JuiceBox as the potential reason.

Regards,
Ruud

I seem to come to the conclusion that this is something in my PC or inside LR5.
As the picture was a series of three, I have exchanged the one in the collection in LR5 which gave problems with another one of that series. I was able to recognize all changes done in LR5, so I could edit the "next one" just as I did with the original one and I have exchanged it. After that an export and an upload of the complete website with Juicebox Pro Pluging was no problem and no error did occur.
This means to me : Yes, I am still wondering what it was, but I am sure it was not Juicebox !

Ruud

Hello all,

I have purchased LightRoom 5,7 from Adobe and set it up to work with the Juicebox Pro Plugin. I set it up to work with my licensed copy and all has been working fine since.
The settings in LR are in a template and I thought I had all set up in such way that I just could add new pictures and the upload or export function would create the necessary website.

Today I added a 47th picture to the site from this month and all was going well, upload was possible.
In the evening I added another 11 pictures, going over the "50 limit" which I have read somewhere and all of a sudden I am getting errors from LR that the original ORF file cannot be found. This although the file is at its original place and seems unchanged. Opening it with ACDSee is possible without problems, properties are not showing any change.

Is this a known topic ?
If Yes, are the solutions to be found in LR or the Plugin ?

best regards,
Ruud

Hi Steve,

thanks for your answer. My reading qualities seem to be the reason I had to ask this. I found all answers given by You in your website 'already', should have read better from the start.

Juicebox - Pro Plugin working as it should, thank You.

Problem solved, if 'reading badly' can be called a problem :)

Hi,

it is a long time since I used JB, allow to ask some questions which might be beginner questions.

I am currently on a trial of Lightroom and want to understand if its workflow will save me time.

Until now I am using Photoshop to edit pictures, place them in a directry on my drive, use the svBuilder tool to create a website, save this on my drive again and use a FTP tool to upload it to my website.

I would like to have a way where I can have the Lightroom plugin 'do this work for me' after the editing has been done. It is understood that SimpleViewer is not the same as JuiceBox (I have both), but to understand I think there should be no big difference.

1)Is it correct that there are a lot more options in the Windows desktop version of the JuiceBoxBuilder - Pro than I see in the plugin in Lightroom?
(I just downloaded the Plugin and changed the jbcore folder with mine)

2)If the above is correct, is there a simple way to make sure my 'general settings' are implemented in the plugin. f.e. autostart

If these kind of topics are somewhere explained, it would kindly ask for a link, could not find it myself.

Hi all,

played around with JB for a day now, decided to purchase it additionally to SV which I was using until now.

If somebody cares to take a look and give his/her remarks, I'd be grateful : http://www.my-mk.net/
