It would be great if there are different display options for normal view and fullscreen mode. For example: You can set imageScaleMode="FILL" for normal view and imageScaleMode="SCALE" for fullscreen.

If you actually use "FILL", the fullscreen mode is not very useful because of the enormous variety of screen sizes (especially with the upcoming wide screens).

We work with imageScaleMode="FILL" to have a properly designed image gallery. If you switch the gallery view to fullscreen, images do not display nice. Is it possible to work in normal gallery mode with imageScaleMode="FILL" and in fullscreen mode with imageScaleMode="SCALE" ?

We have the same problem. In our case, everything works fine if you press ESC instead of the button on the top right. Temporary solution: You can hide the button using CSS until next release with fixed bug is published.
