Thank you for your concern.

But in fact the problem doesn't concern the overlay but the text that must appear before the gallery in the page, quite a few lines, with a short movie extract in the middle.

My page
    - some explanations
    - a film
    - an embedded gallery

works perfectly on
    - Firefox (mac os x 6 & Windows 7)
    - Safari 5 (mac os x 6)
    - Google Chrome (mac os x 6)

Not on (the text and film appear and disappear very quickly, stays only the gallery)
    - latest Safari (mac os x 10)
    - Google Chrome (mac os x 10)
    - Opera (mac os x 10)
    - Internet explorer (Windows 7)

I didn't test further.

What's the problem and what can I do ?

My gallery functions well while standalone

Not so well when embedded
Absence of right navigation button.
Disfunction of dots (once on the fourth you can't come back to one of the three fist ones).
Margin on the left.
etc.

All of this seems to have the same cause.
Which I can't find.
